NRPF FLAGSHIP ORIENTATION PROGRAMME.
The mandatory flagship orientation programme of Natural Resource Protection Force (NRPF) was conducted on 3rd of June,2023 at Mea Engineering College . The programme started by 9.30 in the morning and was led by the NRPF North region student cordinator Ms. Zahda Raheem. Throughout this programme a complete awareness was given to the volunteers about various plans and projects of NRPF.
GENERAL ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
The orientation programme for batch 2022-2026 was conducted on 1st September 2023 at Seminar hall -Civil block, MEAEC Perinthalmanna . Mr.Arjun Das -Former volunteer secretary of MESCE Kuttippuram was the mentor of our program. The program began with registration at 9:00 AM.52 students registered in addition to S5 &S7 volunteers.
RUDHIRASENA ORIENTATION
The Rudhirasena Orientation Programme was conducted on 21st of October 2023 at MEA Engineering College, Perinthalmanna. The programme started by 11 pm and was led by Rudhirasena north region coordinator Mr. Hinsaf student of MES Engineering College, Kuttipuram. The volunteers were given a complete awareness about the activities of Rudhirasena cell.
TRAUMA CARE ORIENTATION
The trauma care orientation programme was conducted on 22nd October 2023 at MEA engineering college, Perinthalmanna.The programme started at 9.30 am and was led by deputy divisional warden Mr. Anwar Santha Puram of Kerala civil defense. The volunteers where given training about various life emergency situations and how to effectively respond to them.
PALLIATIVE CARE ORIENTATION
The Palliative Care Orientation took place on October 22, 2023, at MEA Engineering College in Perinthelmanna. Commencing at 11:15 AM, the program was led by Mr. MG Praveen, the State Convener of Palliative Care. During the session, Mr. Praveen shared impactful incidents from his enduring experiences, shedding light on the lives of both patients and palliative workers.
NRPF ORIENTATION
The NRPF orientation programme was conducted on 21st of October 2023 at MEA engineering college, Perinthalmanna. The programme started by 9:30am and was led by NRPF north region coordinator Mr. Anujith student of MES Engineering College, Kuttipuram. The volunteers were given a complete awareness about the activities of NRPF cell.
COLLEGE CLEANING WORK
After the NRPF Flagship event (03-06-2023) was flnished, the volunteers gathered together for a 3 hour session of the Clean Campus project. The main goal was to collect the garbage, mainly plastic, from the college premises. Plastic wastes and other wastes were collected in separate kits and was handed over to Harithasena .The session concluded by 2 PM.
FAREWELL FOR 2019-23 BATCH
A heartfelt farewell to the NSS volunteers of 2019- 23 batch was organized at civil block seminar hall of Mea Engineering College on 5th of August 2023. The event started with an inauguration session in the presence of program officer Mr Ranees K T. The volunteers were given certificates and a small token of love as a symbol of gratitude for their hard work and dedication.
2019-23 VOLUNTEERS – HONOURING CEREMONY
An honouring ceremony for the NSS volunteers of 2019-23 batch graduated with NSS was conducted on 13th of august 2023. The volunteers were awarded with a trophy during their graduation ceremony MEGraD 2023 conducted at MEA Engineering College auditorium.
CLEAN CAMPUS
As part of college activity our unit conducted a campus cleaning program on 16th of November 2023 at the college. The volunteers gathered together for a 3 hour session of the Clean Campus project. The main goal was to collect the garbage, mainly plastic, from the college premises.
AGRICULTURAL WORK (17.11.23)
The volunteers our unit carried some agricultural works in front of the mechanical department of our college campus on 17th of November 2023 after class at 4:30 pm. They did tasks like watering plants, applying fertilizers to trees, and removing weeds and grasses.
AGRICULTURAL WORK (22.10.23)
In association with 'AIMA ;MEA blood donation wing ' , NANMA charity & KSBTC ;mea nss 110 conducted a blood donation campaign at college, and collected 62 units of blood . It was conducted on date : 14/03/2023
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
On 6 th of October 2023 a blood donation camp was conducted in Mea Engineering College Perinthalmanna in association with Rudhirasena North region and erythro 6.0 . The camp started at 10 am and lasted till 12:30pm. 55 students from the college took part in the camp and donated their blood.
MINI CAMP
The three day camp for the NSS volunteers in the academic year 2023-2024 named ‘Nilaa’ was conducted on 20th , 21st and 22nd of October 2023 at MEA Engineering College, Perinthalmanna. The camp was conducted under program officer Mr Ranees KT and volunteer Sereteries Mr Mohammed Anjal T and Ms Hanna P.

Orientation Programmes was conducted on the basis of giving instructions and objectives about the NSS 110 to the upcoming NSS volunteers.

Palliative day orientation
Orientation programme was conducted on 12 th January 2023 the basis of palliative day. Given the awareness classes to the volunteers on the topics health and fatal diseases. The volunteers also gave the instructions to how to work on collection on palliative day.
Job skill training orientation
In association with NAAM ( MEA NSS ALUMINI GROUP ) , MEA NSS 110 conducted a 2 day workshop for final years on ' Job Skills Training, led by Mr. Ajmal isudheen, personal transformation coach, founder of Sythe international and also MEA NSS 110 alumnus. The volunteers get trained about how to attend interviews, professional platforms the program was conducted on the dates:

Independence programme
The programme was conducted at college campus by conducting a kidney camp detection program. In that program people from inside the campus and outside the campus also participated in the programme .It was conducted on 04/10/2022.

As a part of newly introduced flagship programme “One campus one IAS” a quiz competition for the volunteers . The programme was conducted on 02/12/2022
Republic day
The programme was conducted on republic day january 26. Flag hosting and a message was given on this day .
Kidney disease prevention camp
Conducted kidney disease prevention study class for whole students in the college. The class was led by Mr. Hussain cheruthuruthi, welfare foundation officer thrissur . It was conducted on 07/02/2023

The programme was conducted on govt. Manjeri hospital. The volunteers were given to repair the broken and damaged medical instruments and its equipments.
Antidrug awareness rally & manushya changhala
The programme was conducted at perinthalmanna and melattur town . All volunteers gathered together and fought against the drugs by doing rally and manushya changhala.
Shop making
It was a programme that was making a shop for a handicapped woman named “ummu kulsu” to overcome her’s daily problems.
Palliative collection
The volunteers also given the instructions to how to work on collection on palliative day. The programme was conducted on 16/01/2023
OSM tracking
OSM tracking instructions were given and OSM tracking was conducted on the same day .
NATPAC survey
MEA NSS unit 110 volunteers conducted NATPAC survey in Perinthalmanna, Melattur, Chunkam and Neighbouring areas. And make survey from drivers of taxi, motor vehicles, trucks, autorikshaw, etc. Inorder to gain the information regarding their situation before and after covid 19 .
7 Day Special Camp
7 day camp was conducting in December vacation time. In 2022 camp name as ‘hridyam’ was conducted in Ambedkar Ashvasa Keendram, Alipparambu panjayath. Camp was conducted during 25 th december to 31 st december 2022 with coordination of KREA Commune under NSS unit 110 MEA Engineering College Perinthalmanna.
